About Alpha Sigma Omega 1962
The Alpha Sigma Omega International Fraternity and Sorority, commonly known as Sigmanians, is a fraternity established in Harvard University in the USA by Asian students, and spread across Asia. In the Philippines, it was officially recognized on July 17, 1962. The organization uses the Greek letters ΑΣΩ, which stand for Alpha Sigma Omega or Asian Student Organization.
The fraternity and sorority is composed of men and women from different universities, mostly across Mindanao. The Sigmanians offer services and opportunities to all undergraduate students and alumni.
Authority and Leadership
With decades of legacy, the SIGMANIANS Alumni Association was formed to oversee activities and uphold values according to Philippine laws. Recruitment and activities are managed under accreditation from national officers.
